We have been designing and producing our individual creations under the Essential Bears label since 1992. We specialise in miniature soft sculpture creations and usually make one-of-a-kind or very small limited editions. The intricacy of design as well as the variety of finishes, including beadwork and embroidery, have become trademarks of our work. As well as tiny bears we also make a wide range of other creatures and our total annual output is generally only approximately 100 bears each. Our bears are available from our webpage and the twice yearly Hugglets show in London as well as on E-bay. We have participated in several on line shows over the past year and will be taking part in the Christmas on line show in November.
We started our bear artistry whilst living in South Africa. We relocated to England just three years ago with our cats and extensive bear collection and are presently living in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
I
am rather slow at updating our web page on a regular basis. Our
ideas are constantly changing and many of our
bears are sold before
they can be added to the site.
We now have a mailing list to advise
all our collectors when new bears are available.
